I would like to suggest to shutdown at least one lift during mid-night (say from 0:00 to 5:30am) in order to save electricity cost.

Actually we had to shutdown 2 lifts at midnight 00:00, and they would be in service again at 7:00 in the morning.

The above action was started since Dece 2003.

Further suggestion:-

Please also consider to shutdown 1 lift during the off-peak hours

say,

from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. to 11:59 pm. for weekdays.

my sugguestons for saving energy are.

1.shut down some air-conditioners in children indoor playground and the entrance and toliets of swimming pool. (TOO COLD after swimming)

2.shutdown the waterfall of children pool after 7:00 pm (NO children go to swim after 7:00 pm).

3.turn a litte bit lower for the air-conditioner in G/F (lift to clubhouse) near Tuen Mun Road (TOO COLD).
